We successfully delivered, installed and commissioned a 30-ton double-girder gantry crane exported to Pakistan. This project overcame local site and climate challenges, completing standardized testing and official acceptance to ensure stable and safe heavy-duty lifting operation.

To match the client’s actual production and operation scenarios, the 30-ton gantry crane applied in this project adopts a mature double-girder modular design, with core technical parameters complying with international crane safety standards and local Pakistan industrial specifications. Combined with the geographical environment, climatic conditions and on-site construction conditions of Pakistan, the engineering team formulated a phased, standardized and safe installation construction plan, and strictly implemented the whole-process quality control to ensure the installation accuracy and structural stability of the equipment.
Before the official construction, the team completed a comprehensive on-site survey, including the flatness and bearing capacity detection of the crane operation foundation, the calibration of track installation datum, and the inspection of on-site power supply and construction access conditions. In view of the dry and windy climate in Pakistan’s industrial area, we formulated targeted dust-proof and wind-proof construction measures. The electrical system is the core control part of the gantry crane. The team completed the wiring and installation of power distribution system, control circuit, signal sensing system and safety protection device in strict accordance with international electrical specifications. After the installation, low-voltage no-load power-on test was carried out first to check the normal operation of contactors, реле, limit switches and other electrical components. Then the voltage was gradually increased to the rated working voltage to verify the stability of the whole electrical system, ensuring that all control signals are sensitive and accurate, and the linkage of each functional mechanism is coordinated and effective.
After the completion of equipment installation, the team carried out comprehensive commissioning and strict performance testing in accordance with ISO crane safety standards and local Pakistan industrial acceptance specifications, covering no-load debugging, dynamic load test and static load test, to fully verify the safety and operational performance of the equipment.
The no-load test was conducted first. The equipment was operated without load to debug the travelling of the whole crane, the lifting and lowering of the trolley, and the left-right walking functions. Through repeated debugging, the operating speed, running stability and braking sensitivity of each mechanism were optimized to eliminate jitter, deviation and lag problems. To verify the structural bearing capacity and mechanical performance of the crane, standardized load tests were carried out on site. The dynamic load test with 110% rated load was implemented to simulate the daily heavy-load operation condition, inspecting the coordination of each transmission mechanism and the reliability of the braking system during dynamic operation. Subsequently, the static load test with 125% rated load was completed, with the load held for more than 10 minutes to detect the structural deformation and overall stability of the main girder and supporting parts.
